Editing old VHS footage of my childhood to show the power of innocence and fascination; lighting my first fire or chasing bumble blowing...  with the making of bronze I return to those feelings.

When I wake from asleep, I try to recall images of her from my dreams. They are often blurry and shift shapes each time I remember them. I tried to capture that feeling in this chimera.

To help me invoke the sensation of Celeste presence and memories getting blurry with time passing, at first I used alabaster and then i focused on glass and bronze. It allows me to explore the chimera complexity with new perceptions appearing depending on how light bounces on glass across shapes and shadows.
